I’ve dedicated my career to building, scaling, optimizing, and successfully exiting businesses — gaining perspective from multiple vantage points as a founder, investment banker, corporate attorney, and investor.
My path began far from boardrooms. I grew up in low-income housing in a rough neighborhood in Queens, NY. My dad was murdered when I was three months old and my brother died in his early twenties. Without a few fortunate breaks, a personal balance sheet restructuring, and the guidance of great mentors, my trajectory could have been very different.
Those experiences inform how I live and work today — prioritizing health, balance, and relationships — and fuel my commitment to paying it forward, whether through my work in prison and at-risk communities, mentoring young professionals, or helping entrepreneurs build stronger, more valuable businesses.
